Wart removal, treatment and behavior

Before we can talk about wart removal or wart treatment, we'll first have to examine the behavior of warts, and their characteristics.

You first have to realize that warts have varied characteristics that can differ significantly, and that there is no standard 'type' of warts.

Basically, warts can pretty much do whatever they want. They can appear one day, and disappear in a week. However, they can also linger around for years should they choose to.

They appear in all sorts of places on your body, and can occur as an isolated wart, or in a cluster.

Some will cause pain, and others won't.

Some are highly contagious, others not so.

As you should have noticed by now, warts are highly erratic in their behavior. And unfortunately, that means that wart removal or wart treatment methods might not always work.

So here is a practical approach to handling warts:

1. Ignore warts if you can, especially if they don't cause any pain or if they don't occur in areas of the skin that can cause substantial embarrassment for you.
2. In under NO circumstances should you try to cut them off yourself, or use your own devised method of wart removal. You could end up causing more problems for yourself than the wart ever did for you.
3. You can always consider a doctor-approved laser cutting method, but this can be rather costly. Unless warts are very large and uncomfortable, surgical removal should be avoided. But remember, warts are caused by viruses, and simply cutting them off won't solve the problem. They can keep coming right back at you.
   
4. You can check out other natural, non-surgical methods that tend to be a much cheaper alternative.
